    How it works

Upscale Engine runs a Real‑ESRGAN super-resolution neural network directly in your browser using WebGPU, with a CPU fallback on older machines. The model rebuilds edges, texture, and fine detail instead of just stretching pixels, so results stay sharp at 4x.

Large images are processed in overlapping tiles, so even a modest laptop can upscale a full-resolution photo. The first run downloads the 5 MB model once; after that it is cached.

Printing shirts or transfers? Switch to Print size, type the width or height in inches, and every image is AI-upscaled as far as it needs, resampled to the exact pixel count, and saved with real DPI metadata. Photoshop and your RIP will read it at the size you typed, at 300 DPI or whatever you set.

    Nothing is uploaded

Most upscalers send your image to a server, process it on their GPUs, and keep a copy at least briefly. This one cannot: there is no server. Every pixel is read, upscaled, and saved on your own device.

That is also why it is free without accounts, credits, or watermarks. There is no GPU bill to pass on to you.
